A focused weekend of drumming

This camp is all about improving your playing through solid fundamentals, practical work, and playing together.

We focus on things that actually make a difference in your playing — regardless of your level.

What we work on

• Posture and ergonomics
• Breathing
• Hand technique
• Foot technique basics
• Time, groove and coordination

These topics are approached in a way that works for both less experienced and more advanced drummers.

This camp is suitable for a wide range of players.

We’ve had participants from teenagers to players in their 70s.
If you’re interested in developing your playing, you’ll get value from this.

Friday

• Arrival / Check-in / Welcome
• Camp begins around 18:00

Saturday

• Teaching starts at 10:00
• Day ends around 17:00
• Evening group hangout / session

Sunday

• Teaching starts at 10:00
• Camp ends at 17:00

Location & accommodation

The camp takes place at Lammaskallio Audio (Tuusula).

• On-site cabin accommodation available for approx. 10 people

Travel Information

• Nearest airport: Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL), approx. 30 minutes by car
• Nearest train station: Järvenpää Station, approx. 5 km from venue

A car is helpful but not mandatory.

Transportation from the train station can be arranged when possible depending on schedules.

What to Bring

International participants do not need to bring drums.

Recommended items:

• Drumsticks
• Practice pad
• Double pedal / pedals (optional)
• Notebook / note-taking equipment
• Any personal gear you wish to use during practice

Bring what comfortably fits in your luggage.

Language

The camp will be held in English if international participants attend.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made at least 60 days before the camp, the full registration fee will be refunded.

If cancellation is made less than 60 days before the camp, we reserve the right to retain the registration fee in order to ensure the camp can take place.
